What Robin is
A reader that shows a book one word at a time, always in the same place. You set the pace, and the book comes with you at the speed you choose.
What you need
An iPhone with iOS 26 or later.
Which books open
Robin opens EPUB files without copy protection, often called DRM-free. Seventeen classics come with the app. Books from many shops are copy-protected; those will not open, and Robin cannot remove the protection. Good sources of DRM-free books include Standard Ebooks, Project Gutenberg and shops that sell DRM-free editions.
Adding a book
Save the EPUB to your phone, then in Robin open Books and choose Open EPUB… below your books.
Reporting a bug
In Robin, go to Settings and choose Report a bug or feedback. The report stays on your phone until you send it.
Purchases
Robin downloads again on a new phone from the App Store, signed in with the same account you bought it with. Finishes come back there through Settings ▸ Display ▸ Finish ▸ Restore purchases. Tips unlock nothing, so there is nothing of theirs to restore.
Reading reward. After 60 minutes of reading in Robin, counted while the words run in a book (the introduction does not count), you can pick one finish to keep at no cost, in Settings ▸ Display ▸ Finish. It is one finish per account, and it comes back on a new phone through Restore purchases.
Purchases are handled by Apple, and so are refunds: you can ask for one at reportaproblem.apple.com.
